New Enhancements to Visibility Overrides in BIM 360 Glue

July 22, 2016 Autodesk Team

A new update of BIM 360 Glue is out, aimed at helping users who add overrides to views and markups to highlight an issue or specific object(s).  With this latest update, visibility overrides -- such as hidden items and transparencies -- are now retained in saved views and markups following updates to models and merged models.

BIM 360 Glue - Visibility Overides

What's a visibility override?

BIM 360 Glue offers visibility overrides for users who want to highlight an issue or specific object in views or markups -- say by hiding walls that obscure it.  This makes it easier for project stakeholders to identify and see what is being communicated in a view or markup.

With this update, visibility overrides can be applied to new model or merged model version. This ensures that users can continue to identify and address items that are called out in views and markups -- even as model and merged model updates are made.

This feature update is supported in both BIM 360 Glue desktop and the BIM 360 Glue mobile app.
